Rules to the Event

No Age Restrictions - Any Fathers & Sons Welcome

The European Father & Son Golf Championship 2008 will be run strictly in accordance with the R&A rules of golf. The UKSGs tournament referees decision will be final in all matters. 

The Championship will be played over 3 days making it a 54 hole event. A practice round is available on Wednesday 29th October.

The format of the Championship will be a 2 ball better ball stapleford scoring.

All handicaps will receive ¾ of their allowance. The maximum shot allowance for any competitor will be 18. Handicap certificates must be produced as proof of ability before the tournament starts.

Stapleford points will be run strictly in accordance with the rules of golf i.e. 

Please note that Amateurs and Professionals are allowed to ride in buggies for the tournament. UKSG do not hire or reserve buggies for the event.

Tees

All competitors will play from the same tee during the tournament.

Winners will be the pair with the highest total of points over the 4 days
